Anyone else got their broadband down? Any update as to when this will be fixed?
Cheers
Came back on during early morning, then went off again around 9.15am. I'm just going to keep sending a complaint through with time & date that it's gone off until they get fed up of reading them & actually send out engineers to fix the problem!
Went & complained on Twitter , I got asked if I'd been in touch with NOW TV engineers........🤬🤬
Estimated 1 hour wait time on calls to help center.
Not that I have a decent phone signal anyway and am reliant on calls via WiFi.
An update on timescales would be helpful.
Broadband down again! I’m in Crawley, anyone else?
Hi @Anonymous User
Looks like, reading this latest tweet on Sky Twitter page (see screen shot below) who use the same internet service infrastructure has NOW 😡.
Thanks for your reply, so frustrating when working from home, twice in one month
We are having broadband problems in Crawley as well. Customer support confirm that there is an outage in Crawley but they don’t know how long it will take to clear atm.
Hi @Anonymous User
I was hit with the outage in South Wales recently (the first for me where i have been with NOW Broadband for over 3 years).
Touch wood it doesn't happen again for me which effected work flow in the house.
Yeah to be fair, I haven’t had issues at all with NowTV, been with them a couple of years, however, it’s more important than ever to have working broadband due to working from home, it’s almost as if we should have two lines for these situations as a backup.
Hopefully we’ll all be back online very soon, so glad I have lots of mobile data.
Hi anyone had any updates on the outage today?
Any news?? Its terrible no one has been in contact to let customers know what's happening. There are some of us whom need WiFi to work. Is there any talk of compensation?
@Anonymous User
Now Broadband is ordinary domestic broadband, and the price and the service reflect this. So they aren’t set up to compensate you for more than the loss of some leisure-time use of the internet.
The elephant in the room of WFH is that you don’t get business-quality broadband for domestic broadband prices, and if you want an unburstable service, with 4G/5G fallback if the fixed line goes out, say, then look to a company like Zen Internet for it, and be prepared to pay their prices 😢

I have BT 500Mb FTTP, of which in practice I can get up to 360, with mobile continuation through EE mobile if the landline goes down, as I require 24/7 availability to my employer, week on and week off.
It doesn’t come cheap, but they make a contribution 💷
Who do you move to, AAMOI?
Same I have problems with broadband down and internet crash down
@Anonymous User
Two lines isn’t the answer, as I have found even in professional use - sooner or later, two lines, unless linked to two separate exchanges at vast cost, will wind up going down the same piece of affected cable, and both will be down. And indeed, for an area outage, even having separate exchanges is no guarantee they won’t go down together.
The backup line has to be via mobile internet, to have a decent chance of being unaffected by any given outage,
