After Set up connections issues

Hi. I have recently set up my broadband and that is for the first time. 
it is showing internet lights as well. It goes well. But the problem is when I come home everytime I have to switch off my iphone in order to connect wifi. That is only with my phone with this broadband. My husband phone goes well. And when I connect with my friend’s broadband I have never had same complaints. I don’t understand the issue with phone or broadband? 
how to fix this issue?

Try a factory reset to the router.
