JVC FireTv streaming issue

Hi, 

Perfect sound but no picture. The app works but can't watch live sport. I've reinstalled the app. Tried router reboot. All other apps work fine. I've even tried a now tv box through hdmi and that works fine. 

All I get is sound and a blue screen??? The stream quality shows as 128.

All I can suggest is try doing a factory reset to the TV. 

You could try doing a reset to the TV first by unplugging it for a few minutes.

Thanks, tried that and no solution. Still the same issue. Its odd that if I play a film it's in high resolution stream quality but the live sport shows as 128, sound and no picture?

Reading this tweet in the screenshot below it looks like NOW are aware of an issue with sound but no picture.

It has also been reported on other Amazon Fire devices also such has the Fire Sticks and Fire Boxes.

Hopefully NOW will get a fix sorted ASAP.

Yup, having exactly the same issue on a JVC Fire tv, only affecting live Sport (sport on demand and live movies / entertainment fine).

Very frustrating as have tried everything to fix, especially on Super Bowl weekend. Disappointed I might have to watch it on a laptop or worse, ITV

Haven’t watched any live ITV streams on ITVX yet, but watching AEW on demand it works like a charm with full HD at no extra cost 😎

Really didn't enjoy watching World Cup games on ITVX, there's a latency issue with the picture I don't have with sport on Now or BBC iPlayer.

Seems as though the issue is with Fire products, strange that as Amazon is starting to challenge Sky in the sports broadcasting arena 🤔 (just kidding but still annoying)
