When is the AppleTV app Beta going to start, I got an email saying 2nd half of August & not heard anything since. Also will the App be delivered by Apple Test Flight?

When is TVos 13 being officially released does anyone know??

I read it was the 30th September when Apple Arcade was released on the Apple TV

Anytime now really with the Gold Master released to Developers could easily be Tuesday when iOS 13.1 and iPad OS releases as there won't be any changes now to it is fully feature complete. Would be surprised if they waited till the 30th.

IPad OS comes out this Tuesday but TVOS is end of the month.

Hopefully can't see why NowTV would delay the update any longer if any other features are coming to the NowTV architecture [Sky Red Button perhaps and possibly 1080p] later this year they could add those in a future update but the UI needs a major overhaul now.

I would just love to know what the people who were involved with the beta test think of it and will they continue with it or think it’s terrible and we all wasted our time waiting lol

Even if it basically becomes a copy of the iOS App that would be fine for me to be honest. don't care if it doesn't become part of TV thing.

Thanks @moroboshi for the update on the tvOS release date (thought it was this week along with iOS 13.1, iPadOS ?& WatchOS?) - I sit corrected... 😉

Quick question regarding the current app, not the beta version, is it only the UI that is the problem, does everything else playback the same as on other apps, or do the issues extend to picture quality etc? (notwithstanding the current 720p/25fps issues).

Picture Quality seems fine to me when i've watched sports on it

I've taken the plunge and purchased the Apple TV 4K device to replace my Roku which will go to the bedroom.

I got one at a very good price last week don't regret it sadly moved to a place where i can't have Virgin or full Sky so needed a streaming box and I figured it would be nice as well to be able watch my iTunes stuff on my TV as well.

Apparently tvOS 13 *IS* released today (as I first thought earlier in the thread). Dare we expect the new NOW TV app soon?

Looks like i was right about TVOS 13 release date i've updated guess we will see now if Now TV release the app.
