wont play

why wont now tv play on my laptop, ive signed up for the free trail for the entertainment pass, it says its active but when i go to watch some thing all i get is the loading screen and it doesnt come on. this is really frustrating, my daughter has no problem watching it on her playstation so why does it not plat on my laptop. please help.

Hi and welcome to the forum ,

 

Sorry to hear you're having problems. First things first: -

  • Are you using an Microsoft Windows based computer or an Apple Mac based computer?
  • Which operating system version is your computer running?
  • How is your NOW TV playback device connected to the internet. Is it via a hard-wired or wireless (WiFi) ethernet connection?

Sufficed to say, the more detailed information you are able to provide, the easier it will be for us NOW TV forum members and/or a NOW TV Team member to work out a solution for you!

I've been watching now tv for the past few months, downloaded the nowtv app when support for everythig else was dropped a month or so back.
It worked fine with me, until recently, where I believe cisco's videoguard is having trouble with reaching a server, I've tried reinstalling, going through the rpocesses to find what might be causing an issue, but The nowtv player just sticks on the loading animation.
I'm running a win 10 pc, latest updates and fixes, latest drivers for everything, my network is all tight and up to scratch, and my intenet connection is not the problem.

I'm wondering if there has been any recent bugs with the app and any fixes for them.

Hi @Anonymous User Can you do me a favour and check the CPU usage before and after you load the NOW TV Player?
