Error message 13 "using VPN"

Hi

Just signed up to NOW TV for 1st time to watch on my Windows laptop.

Cant watch anything - the NOW TV player appears I get an error code saying "you appear to be using a VPN" (which Im not) "error code OVP_00013".

 

Ive tried all suggested options including diff browsers, reinstalled NOW TV player, cleared history/cache, swapped the broaband landline here and used phone as hotspot, uninstalled old VPN programs etc sent a complaint but no response.

 

Very very poor from NowTV I must say its nowhere near as user friendly as other alternatives, its only the promise of GOT that keeps me trying.

Might be no better, but if you are on Windows 10, get the ‘Now TV’ (note the space when searching for it) app from the Microsoft Store, and try that instead of the browser/player combination.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
