I've recently got a NOW TV subscription with boost on PC and still don't have any HD options when viewing from the downloaded app.

Boost isn’t supported for PC and Mac. All your going to get with boost with those devices is 3 streams and no adverts.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
