You browse the website for content, if you wish to play something it redirects you to the app. Once an episode is finished, instead of playing the following episode the app requests you to return to the website and launch the next episode from there. Furthermore I am now being harassed by advertisements. I am forced to watch two before an episode starts, thereafter the episode gets interrupted three more times. In my case watching one episode of The Good Doctor I got 2 x Range Rover, 2 x Tesco, TikTok, Chanel and a children's toys ad. I just think this is outrageous for a paid for streaming service. Imagine having Netflix forcing five ads into every episode of anything you watch. There would be a riot. I used to be a member years ago but left due to the poor functionality, now I have returned and it is even worse with the same terrible app and now with added advertising.

@Anonymous User ads during your show can be removed by having a Boost membership but you may still have pre show promos for Now content (some people report they get them all the time but I rarely get them).

Er, that's exactly what's happening from November. Netflix will be introducing a new tier of subscription £4.99 a month, up to 720p, 1 device only, limited content, no downloads and with 5 minutes of adverts per episode.
