No 12 month deals this year??

Bagged a great deal last year with Entertainment & Movies for £99ish

Nothing even close to that this year - Is it time to look elsewhere?!

Having spoke with Live chat, they confirmed no 12 month bundles this year. Best they could do me was half price for Movies and Entertainment 4 months on monthly payments. 

 

Its up to you, but worth seeing what you can get. 

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

The T&Cs on this offer say:-

 

12 months Sky Cinema and Entertainment for £99: Offer ends 04/12/2019 at 23:59. Pass auto-renews at standard prices after 12 months unless cancelled (currently: Sky Cinema at £11.99pm and Entertainment at £8.99pm). Offer not available to existing customers currently billed by a third party such as Vodafone or Apple. Not available in conjunction with any other NOW TV offer.

 

So I interpret this that it should be available to existing customers billed directly by NowTV.

 

Though who is billing me if I am currently running a NowTV voucher bought from Curry’s?

 

And will my upcoming free B&M Entertainment Pass (synonym for strange or odd censored here) the pitch, though hopefully if I do the maths and decide to let it go, Cancelling will achieve this?

 

My attempts to explore further by pressing the offer button are currently being thwarted by the legendary “Oops, something went wrong” message; perhaps if I can get past that, I can learn more.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
If you take an offer that comes with a ‘free trial’ of Boost or another Membership, Cancel them straight away. You will still get the full duration of the trial, and if you decide you do want to continue with one or another of the trial products, just revisit the Cancel, and UnCancel it.

It is very frustrating that you cannot speak to someone via phone. Chat seems to connect to an Indian call centre with very limited authority / capabilities.

I see you are allowing some people to get 12 month deal .if I can't have this deal can you delete my back card off this account .so I can go elsewhere .I've been with this service for years it's not on ,

Try having an active chat with them, 

And ask them to cancel your packages and add the 12 month deal to your account

As you would like to take advantage of this deal.

I've been offered the deal via email but cannot access on the link.  Cannot seem to speak to anyone to get it sorted for me.

I had the 12 month deal last year but it was definitely late being released this year and lots of issues getting it.

If you log into your account and look at your passes page then as long as you do not currently have an active entertainment or movie pass then this deal should be listed under your black friday offers.

I followed the advice on here and had to have a live chat to cancel my last few days of passes to get access to get deal!

lm the same.....no way l can afford the monthly cost......it's to lure u in.....but hey ho.....will be leaving now TV once my subscription is ended.....l also hate how hard it is to access live chat!!  ultimately its sky getting greedy again

I’ve also been looking for a 12 month deal as I’ve done this the last 2 years. I’m feeling very disappointed and I’ve 2 upset teenagers who like the box sets and can no longer watch them. Unfortunately we can’t afford to pay monthly

I have just sorted the £99 12 month deal, as with the rest the deal was not available on my account, what you need to do is cancel the entertainment and movie package s that you currently have active, one that has been done your account will show no active packages, if you then go in to the black Friday deals on your account it will show a load of offers including the 12 month deal for £99

If you pick that and pay for it the check the packages any outstand days you had before you cancelled are added back on to the 12 months, a little long winded by it worked for me, good luck

I’ve just had this email. Looks like they are letting some people have the deal but not all of us. I’m fuming.

In case you were not aware the offer that you see on our website are for new customers and for the existing ones who have not got any offer or passes for either cinema or Entertainment at the moment on the account.

today they have released the 12 deal but only to new members......l have this deal but have been charged twice and don't  need it to start yet.

I did the same as everyone else.

 

I got the person on chat to remove the remaining pass time that I had which then allowed me to take advantage of the 12 month offer again! 🙂

 

I do feel sorry for the people who were told the 12 month pass was not available and therefore may have paid for other offers in the meantime before this offer came back. A bit of an own goal IMHO.
