What happens

If one was to cancel a service such as movies, does the box still function for catchup and youtube.

Welcome to the forum. Yep, it's only NOW TV you won't be able to watch if you cancel your passes, all the other apps will still work as normal.

You also won't have access to the Sky Sports News HQ App without an active nowtv pass.
