Damaged connector for dongle

Do you mean the USB micro to USB Standard cable where the USB micro end is broke ?

Or there is something damaged on the Stick itself ?

Was the damage self inflicted or just broke ?

t’s the connection you insert into the USB stick. Can I send a pic for you to see?

Sounds like it's the micro USB to USB Standard cable used to power the Stick (see photo below).

You should be able to use any micro USB to Standard USB cable (see if you have one lying around the house, where they a quite common with phone and tablet chargers for example).

If not look at places like Ebay, Amazon etc for about £2.
