Welcome to the forum. There's some content that has subtitles available, but only in certain devices. It's mainly recently added movies with only a very small number of entertainment shows. Whilst this will grow over time, if you need to use subtitles all the time to be able to watch content properly then you might find it better to cancel your free trial now so it doesn't automatically renew and maybe rejoin at a later date when hopefully more of the content you want to watch is subtitled.
You can find details of which shows and devices support subtitles and how to use it on this help page
Hi and welcome to the forum @Philgrip,
Please refer to @Andy post above...
Welcome to the forum. NOW TV haven't said one way or the other so we just don't know at this stage. It's almost certain it won't be available for the live steam, and we will know tomorrow if it's available for the season 7 catch-up episode. They aren't on any of the season 1-6 boxsets.
Just in case anyone has missed the news, forum member @Archifishal has spotted that subtitles have now been added for GoT S7 ep 1. Subtitles should work on NOW TV Boxes, PS, EETV, Apple TV, Xbox One and Samsung TVs so if anyone spots problems with these devices let us know.
Signed up for Now TV and got up and running but there is virtually no subtitled content in Entertainment and very little elsewhere.
No where did it state on the sign up - "Sorry Now TV only offers subtitled content on about 1% of out output and is therefore useless if you are deaf or hard of hearing".
For example almost ALL the content on Amazon firestick is subtitled so it's plain laziness, discrimination and inertia that Now TV refuses to mobilise to provide this essential service to the 20% of the population who are deaf or suffer from some form of hearing loss.
I'm tired of excuses from lazy, incompetent broadcasters who discriminate against a large section of people who rely on subtitles.
