Smart box tv screen shakey

Hi all, just bought a smart box and registered. Set up went well and all seems working, except the picture on my TV ''shaking'' up and down slightly. Anyone !!!!!!

Any idea on an ETA on this? Interestingly, when I got the box initially, it was fine for about 5 minutes until it did its update, then it started shaking. I've had it for two weeks now and no fix has been provided...

As a note, I've raised a number of support calls about this with no response and no one seems to understand the issue... just the people on this thread 😞

Perhaps you've been missed out. In which case it might be helpful to submit your Samsung televisions information again in this topic... Either-way, it can't hurt 😉

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

 

I have passed your seriel numbers on to get a fix deployed.

 

This should take no longer than 48 hours to reach your boxes, after 48 hours have passed please can you do a software update to your NOW TV Smart Box.

I have the same problem.  Just signed up to the NOW TV service, recieved the new box today, worked fine for all of 3 mins until the update installed, then bam, shakey screen, and can't possibly watch it unless I want a migraine!

 

Tried 720p etc as previously suggested, no good, different HDMI cables, also no good, tried on a really old LG 32" TV it worked fine.

 

Main TV: Samsung

Model: LE46M86BD

NOW TV Box Serial #: 568671631042

 

Please send the fix to the my box asap as currently it's unwatchable

 

It would also be sensible to roll it out by default to all boxes to prevent it happening at all, particularlly for new customers.

Hello Andy, I am also a new customer and received the Now TV smart box today and have the same problem, but shakey screen from the moment it was turned on. Tried all usual fixes; new hdmi lead, alternative hdmi ports etc. But still getting the headache inducing shake!

Could you please send a fix through to me too (I'm hoping to watch the Leeds united football match this Saturday at 5.15, so fingers crossed!)

My Tv is a Samsung LE40M87BD
Now TV box serial number; 568680339866

I have sent them off to get the fix deployed for you.

 

It can take upto 48 hours to reach your boxes, after this time please perform a software update if your box hasn't already done so.

Good Evening Andy-S & Team,

 

Just bought a Smart Box, have a Samsung LE46M87BDX (as per some of the previous posters) and the ~25Hz vertical jumpy 4-pixel flicker.

 

As with others, the picture was stable until the forced update & reboot. I've also an older non-smart box, picture fine as always. Tried a reboot, no improvement. Also no newer update available if I force a check.

 

I'd appreciate a push of the flicker fix; box serial no. is 5686 5A64 2606.

As I have said in the other posts it can take upto 48 hours after this time run a manual update and should be resolved for you.

Oh my box was fine for the three minutes of plugging in untill the software got updated and introduced the Samsung Shake.

How do I roll back  to a stable system on my  model#4500SK-UK with S/No  568867G051086 ??
