Please can I know the quickest way to get a replacement box after a power cut in my area (Croydon) has left this not working. The customer support here seems terrible as the number I was given on an email does not work and there is no live chat or easy way to be seen on the website of sorting this replacement.

As you tagged this thread in the NOW black box which is nothing to do with the broadband router from NOW. The NOW black box is a streaming device powered by Roku.

To follow-up from my post, NOW no longer make or supply any of their streaming devices. So if the device is indeed referring to the NOW black box. Have you tried doing a factory reset?
