SUBTITLES

Sky sports boost with Talk Talk had sub titles.

Why are there no sub titles with Sky Sport with Now TV/Sky. ?

I have a Now TV smart stick.

Hi @pARFORM 

The NOW TV Smart Stick should offer subtitles when watching the majority of NOW content including live Sky Sports.

Firstly have you gone into the Stick Settings and forced on Closed Captions.

Then when watching live Sky Sports press the OK button on the remote which will bring up the now and next channel on the TV screen then move across to the far right and click ok on the bubble speech icon, then another pop up will appear on screen and highlight and click on subtitles English.

And be prepared to do this for every single viewing session you start, for all the world as if there never was a Closed Captions setting that you might have thought would persist, once you had set it 😢

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
If you take an offer that comes with a ‘free trial’ of Boost or another Membership, Cancel them straight away. You will still get the full duration of the trial, and if you decide you do want to continue with one or another of the trial products, just revisit the Cancel, and UnCancel it.
