Black now TV box not recognising remote

hello

The box puts a picture on the screen. The remote infrared is working, but box does not recognise the remote when I press buttons.

I tried pressing reset but does help. Anyone who can help please

Model is 4200sk. Been great until now

Try performing a factory reset to the box.  This will wipe your box but it’ll sort out the remote issue.

I did that and am at the start of the let's get started stage.

I can't move from here.

Maybe my remote isn't working, but the infrared cones on when I press buttons

What batteries do you have? Are they Duracell by any chance? 
The reason I ask is that Duracell are best for the remote.

Are you able to try new batteries?
