Now tv box restarting

Every time I go onto an app be it bbc iPlayer or itv hub, after a few minutes it will flick off and go back to the Home Screen which comes on when starting up the box?! Apps are all up to date.

This is only on my small black now tv box, not my smart box. 

Anyone else having issues like this?!

As a guess you can set the box back to factory settings. It should iron out any issues you have with apps.

Worst case you head onto live chat to report the fault.

This seems to happen to me also, on occasion. I have the Smart Box (Freeview), and usually occurs when I’m opening the Now TV app. 

It will appear as if it’s loading then it’ll just restart, and then work ok. I have reset the box on several occasions, but to no avail.

It doesn’t particularly bother me though, as I’ve found myself using the Apple TV app more often now.

I have the same problem which started around 4 pm today. Atfer about five mins it's returns to the home menu. Spoke to a few tech geeks on various platforms,   resetting,  restarting,  internet and factory reset. Input different codes/settings , nothing has worked.

It happens to me when I go onto an app say bbc iPlayer, start watching something then after 5 minutes or so it’ll switch back onto the main Home Screen where you select what you want to watch. It doesn’t happen when watching Netflix from this box though weirdly. Just apps like bbc iPlayer, itv hub etc. Have checked for system update which is fine, checked if apps need updating which they don’t. Done a factory reset which hasn’t stopped the problem so I have no idea what to do next!
