Payment can't be authorised? ?!!!

Trying to buy monthly entertainment pass and every time I am getting message 'payment can't be authorised '. What does it mean???

Hi @Anonymous User,

 

It sounds like your payment details may need updating. 

 

Can you double check your payment card registered to your account is up to date.

i am having this same problem and this site is not letting me make my own post on specifics. when i am in the payment part i am putting in the correct details and i also have funds in my acc but it is not letting me complete it. and i am going crazy cause i have to talk to my computer like im a robot! i jiust want to set up my now tv that i spent money on!

Hey, I'm trying yo set up my account I have brought 6 months from Argos today but it still tells me that payment not authorised even though I have played? Xx

You may get the error "Payment can't be authorised" due to many reasons. Can you please confirm the following:

 

  • What type of card are you using?
  • Have you tried a different card?
  • Is your bank blocking any charges to NOW TV?
  • Are you still getting the same error?
