Looks like another price increase for the Sports pass, mainly for day and weekly passes
Day pass now £8.99 and week pass now £14.99

As we don't get Catch-up, Red Button or HD, this increase is another slap in the face. Price increase for a Sports service that remains unchanged apart from channel lineup.
I also just joined today with the sports day pass that was advertised at £7.99. I only joined to watch the champions leagues match tonight and I can't see it anywhere. Gutted! Going to get payment refunded
Hi @Anonymous User
Champions League Football is on BT and not on the NowTV service .

Has anyone ever paid full price for a pass?
And still no upgrade of streaming quality from 720p to 1080p that was promised last year.. price increases without improving the service. Pretty poor
I took up the 'season pass' offer for the football season but can't see myself renewing sports. Weighing up the cost against the number of games I actually have time to watch now doesn't make sense to me anymore in my circumstances.
I expected a 50fps upgrade by now but it hasn't happened. I know it was never promised but I expected 50fps over 720p rather than a 1080p upgrade but neither have happened.
Passes are now too expensive. Simple as that IMO.
I've suggested this before, as have others. We need a 6 hour pass at £4.99 or less. This would effectively be a "single event pass". The only time I might accept £8.99 (£9 let's be honest) is if there are 2 or more events within a 24 hour period, but that's quite rare.

At rack rate they are, but surely no one pays that. I have never paid more than £13 for just the month pass and got both my Now TV sticks with the month pass included for £30 each. And the day passes I have have been freebies from Pringles, Gillette and Now TV themselves. There used to be half price day passes from time to time, but haven't seen them for a while.
May be possible to watch 4 premier games next weekend with a day pass. I have found that the 24 hour pass can last a little longer than that so it may just be possible. But don't blame me if it goes off going into injury time. Alternatively don't start watching the West Ham game until half time.
Also the version we get is worse the SD, shaking background images gives you a headache. Poor, poor quality, looks like I’ll be getting a different make.

What are you watching on? The new Now TV devices are pretty good. Better than my virgin SD.
Well looks like the Sports Day pass have been bumped up to £9.99. Every other Sport pass remains the same.

Not sure if they are purposely putting the price up to make people pay for the week pass, but it is not getting far off.
Hi @gavs82008
Yeah noticed this price bump this morning by going to the nowtv offers webpage 😠.
For that price i would rather buy a one week sports NowTV Gift Card for £10 (unless NowTV are thinking this will be the next item on the list that will get a price hike 😠).
Talking about a price hike i noticed that both Currys & Argos have now bumped up the price for the one month sports pass bundled with a nowtv stick from the usually price of £29.99 to £39.99 😠.
Sports vouchers are getting harder to come by of late. This is also the 1st time I've cancelled a monthly sports pass and received no offer. I'm definitely out this time, the pricing has just got ridiculous, and from what I hear is going to go even higher still 😔
@Anonymous User @schnapps
Luckily I do not watch much football, apart from the odd Scotland International and Hearts game. That being said, I too would end up preferring to purchase the weekly pass for the price, although the price hikes is getting to a point where unless they upped the fps, there is literately no point on spending that amount with Now TV.
Considering if you are with EE mobile you can spend £15 as an add on and get BT sport on the big screen and that covers you for the month, including catch-up (when its launched on the big screen apps), as well as 50fps and 1080p.
So from a value point of view this is where BT Sport has already beaten Sky/Now TV after launching their big screen apps this year.
Good offer on now tv website at moment for existing customers. Buy a day or week sports pass and get a free month of sky cinema. Just one condition...
This offer is NOT applicable for customers with an active Sky Cinema Pass on their account.
Which given my sky cinema subscription expired yesterday is a bit of a bonus.
@Anonymous User Sports vouchers are getting harder to come by of late
Tried this?
Nice one @starman73 The first week of October would be good for me to take up that offer 😀
@Anonymous User you need to have access to a PS4 to get the free ps plus trial, but you can just pay £7 for a month of ps plus online, which is still cheaper. One pass per account.
Sky sports is only 25 a month so why are you saying its 40?? Its not lol...
Who said it was £40......ahem.....nobody did! I think you better read the thread again, this time taking in the words on the page 😉
The full price for a Sky Sports Monthly Pass is £33.99 outside of any available offers or vouchers.
