Yes NOW have removed the option for new or existing customers to purchase a NOW Mobile Sports Membership from your online account.
From what i have been told, NOW will be only offering the Mobile Membership (for the foreseeable future) when there is a deal offer around for a Day Sports Membership with a bundled free Mobile Sports Membership included in the deal offer.
