Has anyone else received an email stating the below? As the first statement from NowTV seems a far cry from the official Formula1 website.
NowTV:
”Unfortunately, some races have been postponed, not cancelled, due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) but the FIA has advised they are likely to go ahead at a later date.”
Formula1.com:
“This weekend’s season-opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne has been cancelled.”
“it is the intention to reschedule cancelled races at some point this year.”
On top of that in relation to Bahrain and Vietnam:
”study the viability of potential alternative dates for each Grand Prix later in the year should the situation improve.”
We all know here that we arent going to get access to all 22 races that we’ve paid for. NowTVs response to this is utterly unacceptable, it is not your fault that all GPs will no go ahead, but to lie and refuse to refund customer is shocking.
Other than the obvious reason of cashflow within your business, why are you not offering refunds to customers or at least the reassurance that should races be cancelled they price will be reduced on a pro-rota’d basis (£9 per race weekend) on top of the offering week passes for any races that fall outside the 9 month contracted period?

Totally agree. I was one of the lucky ones that got a refund before F1/FIA officially confirmed, probably before the rush in now tv cancellations. I feared Sky/Now would respond as they are doing now so glad I acted as the news was breaking. They’re just trying their very best to keep our money for no good reason.
this leaves a sour taste in my mouth and will think twice before using now tv in future. May have to stream RTL or German F1 in future...

i have been after a refund for days and no joy , NOWTV is disgraceful , keeping customers funds and they cant provide the service sold 22 live races and offering extra week pass ?? for what ?? i only watch f1 , so extra pass are useless to me and all !!

I could appreciate their response of extra passes if the FIA and Formula1 had committed to running all races but at a later stage, however is not the case. Australia HAS BEEN CANCELLED, NOT POSTPONED NowTV, I don’t understand how you can continue to put out a stock copy and pasted message via your libe chat stating that no races have been cancelled, only postponed.
You have a duty to your business and customer to provide a fair response to this, if you shaft your customer base you’ll lose them!

It appears than despite copying and pasting a default answer they do accept that an F1 race has been cancelled. Live chat still refuse to refund, part refund, or even discuss the fact customers paid for a service which is not being provided.
Sudeshna (15/03/2020, 16:13:55): Yes, that's right. Only Australia F1 has been cancelled.

Next year, right before you click "buy season pass", take a moment to remember how they treated you this year.
It's not their fault they cant show us what we want to see, but keeping the money we paid them stinks.
I wont spend another penny with them or sky.

Completely agree, vote with your feet people. If we don’t get a refund and only half the races are run this year, we’ll have lost £100!

Impossible to get in touch. Now live chat unavailable too. I’ve received no emails. It’s not as if it’s cheap.
