is chicago fire season 11 available to watch now
Not since Season 9 as far as I can see.
@aaasam season 11 is expected (but not confirmed) for a January release.
Oh, can see Season 10 on that link, not 11?
Even though we have Peacock in the UK. It’s content library is nothing like the US.
Each time I’ve emailed Sky viewer relations they seem to indicate that it might end up on Peacock here at some point. More likely the previous seasons will end up there.
Personally I’d have all NBC distributed shows on Peacock UK the same time it’s added in the US. That way it’s easier to keep up to date.
@gavs82008 How do you get Peacock on NOW TV?
It’s classed as a “channel” on the entertainment membership.
@gavs82008 Ah OK, thanks. But if it isn't there?
Indeed. Which is why I used the key word “might”, that’s what Sky told me, it might end up on Peacock at some point since it’s NBC distributed.
I wonder why Comcast changed their mind (again) and decided to launch Peacock in the U.K anyway.
They weren't going to
' Shell added the international rollout for Peacock will avoid major markets like the U.K., Germany and Italy where Comcast parent NBCUniversal has a major presence with Sky.
“Peacock is a product we will use selectively in markets,” he told investors, as the AVOD’s programming will still land on Sky in the U.K. market.'
Couldn’t agree more. Either make full use of Peacock by having all NBC content under it.
Sure there is existing shows that are on other Sky channels, they could easily just move them over to under the Peacock channel. At least it’ll beef it up.
The duplication of shows is just stupid in my opinion. Like Young Rock, which is due to expire on the Peacock side in November.
What exactly is the plan with Peacock, almost a year in and it’s so fragmented and with a pretty dire lineup. This could easily be solved with at least bringing in NBC shows that Sky don’t have like the Law and Order franchise outside of the seasons on Witness, as well as Chicago shows.
At least then it would be a start.
This is the reply I got from Sky after asking the question of the two franchises.
Given these shows are owned and distributed by NBC, it is likely they will eventually make their way to the UK Peacock app. However, there is no timescale for when that might happen.
