I bet at the end of that episode you were happy then sad all in the space of a few seconds..... why did Will have to be so good at CPR😂

I did like the tension they were creating through the episode with the will she / won't she be kidnapped.....I did think Joan was coming through the bedroom window while Jake was asleep.  Oh and now it looks like Joan's survival from the grave will be discovered now she's in hospital, surely someone will recognise her????????

Amazing what they can do with finger surgery these days....could they not do the same with that tongue😂

I was like "Noooo Will, what are you doing???" 
 I'm so glad her plan to get to Ruby failed, since she is going to rot away, she wanted to take poor Ruby down with her, although Mr J will be in a lot of trouble as he will no doubt be found out.

I'm glad you noticed all the tension with the baby too, I had to keep looking away. Joan would have been pretty stupid to kidnap her at a petrol station. I love how Vera talks to the little one, they are so adorable together! I wonder who did open that window, maybe Vera actually did to let air in and forgot to close it before she left? 


Totally did expect Joan to get whacked around the head so early on. 😮


I didn't know they could reattach fingers like that either! It healed pretty quickly as well! I would like to know how as when I had an accident with the top of my finger once, it took forever to heal..Ughh, that tongue bit was super uncomfortable....

Ahh, so you have extra reason to hate a bit of finger torture???

Surely Joan isn't caught so soon, there must be a twist to come that keeps her from the law....and if caught she wouldn't be sent back to Wentworth, there must be another women's prison in Australia??????

Considering Joan has "official" documents, she may get away again as she is an intelligent woman. There have been some gullible characters in the show so this would not surprise me.

It was only episode two, so she will surely get away again....if we were nearer the end of the season it might have been more uncertain?????

I did like early in the episode when Vera was putting Grace in the car and said she might see uncle Will and....Jake, no Dad??  Does Grace know Jake is Daddy??

Perhaps Vera doesn't like saying the D word since Grace can not talk yet. (My logic 😂.)

I think she will soften soon especially if Jake babysits more often and shows he could be a good dad.

We definitely have not seen the last of Joan, I still think she will get the baby somehow. I don't think she would hurt her though to get to Vera as she does have a soft side for babies as we have seen twice before during the fire and when she worked in a previous prison. You watch that be this season's cliffhanger finale.

Don't you just love it when a show skips over an exciting storyline, for at least one episode???  No Joan last night, she must still be lying there waiting for an ambulance to arrive?????

Boomer didn't last long on that hunger strike.....and what she threw up on that computer keyboard did indeed look exactly like the new breakfast special🤢

Not sure about this new leaking of state secrets storyline to get our new British character on board?????

And, Marie was so close to be shipped off somewhere else, if only A-class prisoners didn't bring with them a premium value!!!!

Poor Boomer couldn't skip one meal bless her. Originally, I thought she made her self sick to distract Vera but no, the poor woman contracted salmonella. Didn't that "breakfast stew" look disgusting? I wouldn't feed that to my dog. 

Marie, I am unconvinced that she has fully turned over a new leaf. I still think she is gunning for Ruby.....

Yes, the British lady came out of nowhere! I thought Bad Girls had been brought back. 😂
I knew Vera's new friend was a bad egg!

It seemed like last night's episode elapsed over a few days??? So there must be some good Freak updates that happened over that same time frame???

Is her secret identify still in tact...was that blow to the head so bad she's dead, story over????

I feel like someone at the hospital will know her and she will claim amnesia. If she isn't dead. I highly doubt she is, as bringing her back would have been pointless.

I had a strong feeling they were going the faux amnesia route. The woman is that frightening she is even scared of her own self in her nightmare. And Jake, how stupid is he trying that in a hospital full of staff and security (I presume the last one as they don't seem to be doing their job correctly)? 😮


Marie- After all she has done, I felt a little bit of Schadenfreude towards her downfall. I was shocked though when she tried to save Ruby. Wow!

I wonder how many fingers Allie will take from Kelly this time?

Yep, the old amnesia storyline......at least they'll be able to drag it out for a while until Joan does her dasterdly reveal!!!!!!

I think Jake was going to try and kill her and not get caught, BUT, if he did succeed and was caught, he was OK with going down to save Vera and Grace?????????

Yes, maybe Marie has turned over a new leaf and it was a bit sad to see her downfall.....just a little bit though.

I don't think Ali is going to get the chance to do anything, she'll be in the 'slot' for quite some time after trying to kill Marie and it now looks like that scheming new prison boss lady is going to try and get Lou 'fingers' Kelly as the new top dog (to help keep the prison peace), so when Ali does reappear in gen' pop' she'll be way back down the food chain and not really able to do anything???????????

I saw a teaser a few days ago on 5star though where Allie says something like "remember when I said I would take more than one finger next time", so I think she will be back on H block in the next episode.

I was thinking about that too with the boss lady maybe getting Lou as Top Dog, I wonder what she is scheming for? Revenge on an inmate? Or maybe on Vera/works with Joan?
It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Poor Boomer is having a bit of a tough time too, she may have hated her mum but it seems she did love her at the same time, bless her.

Yep, the boss lady thing is certainly going somewhere, I'm not sure it's a Joan related thing, but she is certainly up to something!!!!

Last season we were all like "poor Liz", this year we can just replace that with "poor Boomer"😀

Definitely "poor Boomer". You would have thought the court would have seen that she did what she did out of compassion, not cold blood and maybe just gave her a  sentence of several years, not life. Maybe in the show's finale she gets to walk free? That would be a nice ending for her.

So, scheming prison boss lady (Ann) has had personal experience of a terrorist attack, hence why she is doing many of the things she is doing???  Although it's not good to see her scheming with that horrible female guard (Linda), that double-act could do some damage!!!!!!!

Another up and down week for Boomer😀

It does seem quite ridiculous that Joan would ever end up back at that prison, but role on the fun and games when she arrives back next week.....might she swing again from the basketball hoop???

You just knew that Ruby's day release was going to lead to trouble for Rita......and Ruby herself!!!

Linda spraying mace in to Jody's eyes came out of nowhere. How has she not been sacked yet as she has been corrupt for years now. 😮

I must have missed the bit where they said Joan was going back to prison! To be fair someone called me whilst it was airing so that's probably why. I think she will still maintain this "Kath" persona in prison thinking the inmates will go easy on her.

Poor Boomer and Ruby. They don't half get the sharp end of the stick.

If Joan is pretending with this amnesia thing then she is a very good actress.....although, how about that scene towards the end when Jake was looking through the one-way mirrored glass and Joan came towards him, I really thought she was going to give him a knowing nod or a wink!!!!!!

Kanga-ruby back safe and well......but is this the last we see of Rita???????

Marie continues to suffer due to her past actions, on the receiving end of a bit of waterboarding.....although she is trying to work her way between Lou and Reb??????

Regarding Marie, I don't think she is planning that. I think she sees Reb as a second chance to be motherly. I still hate her though. 😅
Towards the end, I'm thinking since Joan got bashed around the head pretty bad, she does believe she is this Kath person. Then again, she is good at manipulating people, the audience included.

I hope Rita hasn't left, I love her kick behind attitude! 😂

Yep, Rita is certainly one of the favourite characters and it would be good to see her back inside again with her sister......although she is basically on the run now so surely they'll catch-up with her soon, give it a few episodes and she'll be back.  Maybe once she's seen her father she'll hand herself in??????
