What has happened to the car shows on Discovery ?

I started watching "Bitchin Rides" but only 5 epicodes have shown so far and nothing for at least 3 weeks. Same thing with Fast'n'Loud (Gas Monkey) and Miss Fit Garage has now only 2 seasons listed yet a while back they were nearly at the end of season 4 ? This has happened with other car shows recently so we need some explaination from Nowtv

It is down to the rights to stream the shows expire. NOWTV can only show them for so long but if the rights get renewed they can come back. 🙂

Welcome to the forum. Bitchin Rides has been on a short break and is now starting up again with episode 6 on tonight. You can either watch it live on Discovery 10pm or it should be on catch-up soon after.

 

Fast N Loud is where it should be as far as I can tell, with only S1 repeats airing on Discovery, but for some reason NOW TV have mixed up the Misfit Garage episodes - all 4 seasons of episodes (32 in total) are there, but S1/2/3 and first 2 episodes of S4 have been bundled together and labelled S1.

This seems to be the norm as far as Nowtv is concerned. They start a series
and then it gets pulled in the middle of it's run. Fast'n'Loud is just at
the start of a new season after Aaron left the garage to go out on his own
so no idea why they have stopped it. Same with Misfit Garage. There were
indeed 4 series and about 70 episodes available. Now there are just 32 old
ones available. Wheeler Dealers are all old ones. Can't recall the name of
the show with 2 young Mexicans searching for abandoned cars with a drone
and then restoring them but it was dropped. There was another show where a
restoration shop rented out space to local guys so they had all the tools
available to restore their pride and joy but it has disappeared as well.
Starting to wonder why I pay my subscription to Nowtv
