I am still being charged for cancelled broadband

This is ridiculous.

I have been a loyal customer for the past 4 years but due to moving home I had to cancel my account. Today I learned that I am still being charged for broadband.


When I called customer service to request a refund they said that I have to wait a month and they will process a refund in June despite the error being on their end. To add insult to injury I have to call them in June to guarantee the refund. 

This flies in the face of consumer rights. Any advice for taking legal action to pursue this further? I’ve already contacted Watchdog.
