Did I register broadband with the wrong address, I haven't had internet since broadband activated

Let's say I have registered broadband with order address details as "123 ABC road". But my address is actually "Flat F, 123 ABC road". The broadband was set to be activated 2 days ago but I haven't had internet since. Can the missing of my flat number from the address be the reason for that? And what can I do now? Tried setting an appointment with an engineer but couldn't as "the engineers are not available for booking now".

I called them 5 or 6 times already and they just couldn't arrange any appointment with their engineers, "problems with the engineer's booking system" they said.

What happens if you try another provider like BT or Sky?

The network is all from OpenReach so it could be a fault with the OpenReach system.
