I signed up for NOW Entertainment on 14th September and got billed £9.99 as expected and got an email confirming. When I looked at my credit card statement I was billed on 21st September for £9.99 for NOW cinema and on the 22nd Septmber £6.00 for BOOST. No email confirming purchase etc. I have contacted help desk, have chatted to agent and they siad they would look into it....no fault reference etc. I have cancelled my membership of cinema and boost as I did not want that and myabe I should cancel my entertainment too as these random charges applied to my account really mess up my budget

Could we be talking about August here?

OOOPS yes - well spotted. Its August. I have set a pin on my account and cancelled the Cinema and Boost 'memberships' on my account. I deliberately did not apply for a free trial but thought I had a monthly contract on Entertainment which rolls over by month and costs the full £9.99 per month. I went through twice when signing up to this ( I have been a customer of NOW before and formerly was very pleased with it but only want it for certain months of the year) - this was to ensure that I was NOT signing up to the Cinema/boost subscriptions as I have no use for these. I spoke to an agent about a refund and we will see if anything actually does get done. In the best case scenario I assume that these errors are the result of badly implemented billing systems where they do not care if some people are billed erroneously. In the worse case ....well I let you fill that in!
