In September 2021 I changed broadband provider from Virgin Media to Now. I have just realised that Virgin Media have continued to charge me £19 per month for line rental. I contacted them today to ask about this and they have checked the notes on their system. The notes record that the line was left temporarily open so that Now could port my existing landline number. According to Virgin it is Now's responsibility to inform them once this has been done, however this does not seem to have happened and the line has remained open since.
Virgin have advised that they cannot issue a refund because the fault is with Now TV and not with them. They have advised me to contact Now to seek a refund. Please could somebody advise on what steps I need to take?
Thanks
