Account Sign In - Confirm Genuine User

Hi,

I have recently created an account with NowTV. Every time I sign in to my account, I am asked to confirm I am a genuine user by asking me to type in the letters which appear in a box. Is it normal to ask for this every time?

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous User

I have seen this happen recently on my NOW account which i have been using for about 7 years.

i think the issue was there is a problem signing in on the NOW website where for me it took quite a few attempts before it accepts my login details (hasn't happened for me for the last two weeks and the genuine user message only occurred for about two or three consecutive days).

i just ignored it and used another internet browser or shutdown the browser and restarted it again.

i am guessing it's a bit of software NOW have introduced to prevent multiple goes at entering people's account login details.

Hi @schnapps . Thanks for the response. Its strange because it asks me to confirm I'm a genuine user every single time I sign in, even if I get my login details correct the first time round. I'll try your suggestion of using a different browser.

Thanks
