What's up with connectivity?

Okay - I have had Now tv for a few months now and it has been fine - until today that is.  If I switch on the computer then Now TV lags and buffers and becomes unresponsive.  If I switch off the computer Now TV gets a bit zippier but never as good as it was yesterday or before.  What's happening?

Have you tried rebooting your router? You might also want to try changing the wireless channel on the router to see if that helps (although if your channel is set to auto leave it as rebooting the router should pick the best channel).

Sorry to hear you're having problems. In order to help you, can you please provide the following information: -

  • What's your computers operating system version?
  • Which NOW TV packages have you subscribed to (ie: Entertainment, Cinema, Kids, Sport)?
  • How is your NOW TV playback device connected to the internet. Is it via a hard-wired or wireless (WiFi) ethernet connection?
  • Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?
