I really hope that you can ... help me as I just haven't been able to find ANYWHERE on your site for the live chat service and really unimpressed with Now TV since i joined only yesterday.
I have been trying to watch The Last Panthers ... however each time that i have tried to play it - it gives me a message saying
"There's an error connecting, please try again in a few moments. Service updates can be found on our community."
i have been getting this message for the past 24 hours ... can you please explain as this is the only reason I signed up to NOW TV!
I also can't watch any other tv programs and get the same message...
thank you in advance

Hi @Anonymous User
If you're using Windows 8/10 you can use the now TV Windows 8/10 app instead of Silverlight. This bypasses Silverlight completely, which means you should have far less issues. The app can be downloaded using the Microsoft store on Windows 8. It is downloaded and installed free of charge, but you will need a Microsoft account. I assume you're using Windows 8 as you have posted in a Windows 8 topic?
Be aware that the now TV app will be seen as a different device by now TVs systems. So if you have four devices in your account. You would need to remove one of them
Another bonus of the Windows 8 app is that you get 720p HD on demand.
If you run into into device management issues live chat might sort this out for you. If you explain the problems you've been having with Silverlight and the fact that you have Windows 8/10.
To get to live chat click here. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click "contact us" and then click "live chat"
Are you using Windows 7 and therefore have no choice but to use Silverlight? If you have no choice but to use Silverlight what web browser I you using?
The information below will also help you contact nowTV in future
NowTV can be contacted through email, live chat and this forum. The live chat and email contact methods can be found by going to the help site. The button to access the help site is located at the top right of the page. After clicking help select "help centre"
The email and live chat contact methods are accessed by finding the help article that best suits the issue you're having, you then scroll down to the bottom of that article and click contact us. Then you can choose to use either email or live chat.
If you can't find an article that suits your issue in the PC section you should find a "non-of the above" article and use the same process as described above. To contact now TV
Hope that helps

Hi @Anonymous User
You need to get the now TV Windows app using the store app on Windows 10. In order to get the app you'll need a Microsoft account, but the app is downloaded and installed free of charge
