RESETTING TP-LINK

i cannot connect my tp-link device to the main router, an orange like displays always after the flashing blue light

Camera?

robot vacuum cleaner?

doorbell?

temperature/humdity monitor?

wifi access point?

There are loads of tP link devices , likewise there are loads of Routers out there - although not sure what  a main router is a google search doesnt show anything for "main router"
