It would be great if the NOW TV box had HDMI CEC. This would mean that when you turn on the NOW TV box, it would automatically wake your TV from standby and switch the input to the one used by the NOW TV box.
If a motion sensor was also added to the front of the box, NOW TV could automatically turn itself (and your TV) on when you enter the room, maybe automatically showing a screensaver with date/time and weather forecast?
