Welcome to the forum. Not normally an issue connecting to Sky, assuming you have placed the box in range and it's not close to sources of interference, or on a crowded shelf/enclosed cabinet, try rebooting both the Briadband router the box and start again,and if you still have no luck post back with any error messages you see or what happens when you try to connect.
