Cancellation issues

Hi guys,

I have subscribed to Now Broadband yet again after leaving my old provider when the 18 months promotion period ended. I did it through Quidco so for a cashback. Surprise, surprise, cashback hasn't been tracked and I haven't even received the setup package to activate the broadband. I have called the helpline which was pretty swift but with people laughing out loud on the background like in a canteen but not a call centre. I was told that I "re-contracted" the broadband which means I'm probably not a new member and the adviser was also surprised that the broadband was live because he knew I never got the setup package. Fair for them it seems that I haven't been charged the £10 setup fee. However, when I asked the adviser to cancel the broadband(still in the first 30 days period) he was talking some nonsense about not having a broadband for 14 days until the new provider steps in. I insisted on cancelling the broadband which he confirmed but soon after he was putting me on hold repeatedly while he was talking and later ended the call completely. That was last Thursday and the broadband supposed to be cancelled from Friday 22nd. The customer support is shockingly garbage for a company that is owned by Sky..
