Sky q

My account recommends a sky Q to improve broadband coverage in home. How do I get one? From searching it says Sky provide them to customers but I have a Now Tv account. Thank you

Hi @Jayne248

What’s being recommended is a ‘Sky Q router’, the SR203, which you can more or less directly swap in for the Now router, doesn’t need any reconfiguration, and has WiFi which is rather better.

You can pick one up off eBay, or possibly Gumtree or your local equivalent.

Keep the Now router to swap back in if you ever have to call Now Broadband about a problem.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

The Sky Q hub is exactly the same as the Now router, except for "badging".

The SR203 replaced it, mainly I suspect, because it had a terrible reputation for poor Wi-Fi.

So yes, try and get an SR203, it should improve your Wi-Fi experience no end.

Where in your account does it say that?
