New router has intermittent fault on the DC power socket

Hi,

I'm a new NOW Broadband customer (as of today) and everything is working OK except for some horizontal "play" in the the DC Power plug once its in the router socket.

The slightest movement of the power lead anywhere near where it enters the router causes the unit to reset.

In a sense this isn't a problem because once a router is working I seldom have cause to physically move it.

On the other hand, for all I know the problem might get worse so I thought I would ask for some advice.

Thanks 🙂

Hi @John_Latter

Report it to the NOW Broadband Team using one of the communication methods from the link below.

BTW - My Hub 2 Router has some vertical up and down play with the DC power socket on the back of my Router, but i haven't encountered any power loss from 3 plus years of useage.

Prior to posting here I was unable to find a telephone number but I've been able to report it now, thank you 😊

PS I've a little vertical play on the power socket but it doesn't cause rest.

Are you sure it's fully pushed home. Sometimes they can be a bit tight.

If it's fully plugged in best to report it via the phone number found here:
