NE5 broadband issues

Hi all

Has anyone got ongoing issues with the broadband connection in the NE area, since last night the internet has been down cant get a fast connection but Now CS say we are getting a connection of 53mb, I said yes but nothing in the house is getting those speeds at most we are getting 3mb or lower.. I was asked what did I use to test the speed I said Fast and Speedtest.. So another test was done with the same speed they got the 1st time.

I was then asked why type of hub do I have and then what router... I told them the hub type and that the router was from them in fact it was a replacement. I could hear in her voice she was getting annoyed, so she said to me I will have to spilt the connection so there would be 2 speeds. 

Do NotTV broadband CS staff know there is an outage, if theres no outage what is the problem I and I think other are having in the NE area?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
