Intermittent connection failure

Help please. WIFI connection is intermittent. System shows strong wifi however cannot connect to web or loses connection. Very frequent occurrence on mobile device and laptop and I work from home 80% of the time! Phone works as does tv which is hardwired. Also hardwired laptop and that seems ok however my office in in another room so need WIFI. BT Engineer coming out tomorrow to test by hub but I can’t see that as the issue. Done all the usual rebooting and resetting iPads etc. Advice would be appreciated. Cheers

Did you mean an Openreach engineer (who won’t be very interested in anything your side of the Master Socket, though (s)he will fix anything not as it should be up to that point)?

Or a BT engineer coming to look at your hub? In which case this isn’t a Now Broadband issue, but a BT one.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
