Extremely poor service in rural Dorset villages

We are suffering terrible broadband and phone problems in 3 of out local Dorset villages. No landline phone service, in some cases up to 5 weeks and no broadband for many users. (We have poor mobile reception and so rely on out landlines). We have all complained in as may ways as possible until we are blue in the face but nothing ever gets fixed. I'm guessing this a quite normal for Now. I took a look at the Ofcom site but they are just as useless.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how to get our phones and broadband fixed?

What does this link tell you about the status of the line?

For the broadband are you getting poor speeds over Wi-fi or ethernet? If its the former you should try splitting the bands.

Either way for all broadband/phoneline issues you have to call the broadband team. Which you should request an engineer to be sent out. This is where NOW are fully reliant on OpenReach as they use their network.
See link below for the number.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Which Dorset villages?

Are you modern-day Tolpuddle martyrs? 😛

I'm rocking 500Mbps FTTP from BT in my Dorset village.

Have you had a word with Jurassic Fibre?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
