Day 3 without broadband

Any advice to help get back online - when I call they can’t give me a date my broadband stopped working on Tuesday

You won't get any updates on here. All you can do is keep calling the broadband team.

What you must bear in mind is that NOW are completely reliant on OpenReach.

This may or not be any consolation.

And what are Now saying when you ring them?

First I was told engineer with in 2 days - then i was told within 3 days now I have just be told 3-5 days and they don't work the weekend - it just seems a very poor service

NOW don’t own any network. So are completely reliant on OpenReach.

Who should nevertheless be taking a maximum of 72 hours to fix the issue. Monday to Saturday. It is only Sundays they do the Melina Mercouri thing,

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

I am still without broadband been told open reach have tried to fix it twice but no update - can I call open reach direct I have been without broadband since 1 August

No you can’t I am afraid, NOW act as the middle man between you and OpenReach. Just have to keep pestering the broadband team.

If Openreach have been out, they  will have given Now an update.
