Broadband slow in bedroom furthest away from router

My broadband is slow in my bedroom which is the furthest away location in my apartment from the router. Can I obtain a booster from Now for this bedroom to resolve the situation?

Now provide only the router.

And yes, WiFi strength and speed falls off with distance, in Now’s case perhaps a bit more rapidly than is customary.

If you want a ‘booster’, properly known as a wifi extender, you will have to buy one for yourself 😢

However, a cheaper, and arguably better, option may be to source yourself a Sky SR203 router off eBay.

This is a direct replacement for the Now router, requiring no complicated reconfiguration, and has significantly better WiFi performance than Now’s bargain-basement offering.

But keep the Now router in case you have issues in the future, as you will need to swap it back in before Now Broadband can offer you any help.
