Asus modem/router instead of NowTV Hub two

I'm going to get a modem/router to hopefully use instead of the NowTV hub two (probably nr801uk) soon to be delivered. Rather than double NAT or bridge as an access point does NowTV use MER option61 as Sky do?

To improve WiFi gaming etc.

Probably Asus RT-AC86U or AX86U.

Yes and you can use the Sky user/password extractor software from the skyuser forums - just attach an ethernet cable to your NowTV ethernet WAN port(may have to configure your router to use ethernet WAN and not VDSL WAN). You may have to run the skyuser extractor software a few times before it picks up the correct NowTV DHCP packet and decodes it.

Can you specify how this will work since the Hub Two has a dsl port rather than a eth wan port?
