A number of NSFW sites won't load unless on a VPN

Here are some examples (NSFW): pornhub.com, redgifs.com, xhamster.com, onlyfans.com

There are no parental settings on the router, nor do I see any kind of official notice of blockage. Every page simply times out after loading for ~30 seconds. I don't see these anywhere on the officially blocked page and is quite annoying to deal with.

Have you tried going to your online NOW account and disable the Broadband Buddy Settings?

I didn't think that would be something that would be automatically set to restrict, that's an odd choice. 

I had a good look around what I thought was the entire NOW account page, I didn't expect something like that to be in Settings. I'd assume that would be technical settings, or at least be listed under broadband. Feedback for the UX team, I guess. Thanks.

Very much for the same reasons that Google SafeSearch doesn’t default to Off.

So if it’s an ‘odd choice’, Now are in very good company here 😛

More information in the links below about the NOW Broadband Buddy feature (Sky Broadband has a similar feature also) where the default Age rating is 13 I believe.

I have changed my NOW  Broadband Buddy Settings to 18 because there is only adults in my household.
