DRM used by Now TV in Android TV ecosystem

Hi Community!

Do you know if the player, when used in Android TV set-top boxes, uses widevine, playready or both drms??

I did a test on Chromecast device (Google TV) and by looking the logs, it seems that  player asks to the HW the supported drms in the box, and relays this info to the backend / player servers.

"

That could suggests that both drms are used.

But my question is => if I have a set-top box only with widevine keys, does anybody know if the player will properly work?

Many thanks for your feedback and opinions if any,

Regards!

@Campoa one must be a fallback option. But im sure Android TV (Sony etc) use Widevine, whereas Chromecast, iOS and Android Mobile use PlayReady.
