Access denied message on NOW tv player

I was watching White Lotus and it stopped suddenly and despite deleting and re downloading the player, it still isn't working. Of all the apps for streaming I have the most problems with NOW TV, but usually it resolves after a few tries. I've tried all the tricks I know and nothing.... would appreciate some help.

NOW are aware that they service is down at the moment if you are seeing the "Access Denied" message.

Here's a recent Tweet from the NOW Help Twitter Team, where NOW are trying to fix it as quickly has possible (see screenshot below).
