Now tv app will not load onto my new Amazon fire stick it keeps telling me to contact the developer

I joined now tv yesterday and found out that I needed a fire stick to use the service so I purchased a new Amazon fire stick loaded it on to my tv and tried to download the now tv add but it keeps saying to there is a Data Feed error and to contact the developer please help

Daft question. Is the fire stick system fully updated?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

It is ok I am going to return it to the store for upgrade. Thanks though and all updates were done at start.
