I have signed up to now broadband and the kit is being sent out I just recently moved into an address and the previous tenant has destroyed the master socket how can I request an engineer? Thanks in advance

You need to call the broadband team. Make sure to be signed in and use the ‘How to get in touch’ drop down.

Thank you for your reply. Upon further inspection of the property it appears I have another master socket that has ports for phone and WiFi so hopefully I will not need an engineer.

2.4GHz only. And it can only extend the WiFi from a router that is in turn plugged into a real Master Socket.
@Johnboy can you post a photo of what you have found that you think is a (the?) Master Socket, so that we can hopefully identify it?
