@Johnboy

You need to call the broadband team. Make sure to be signed in and use the ‘How to get in touch’ drop down.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Thank you for your reply. Upon further inspection of the property it appears I have another master socket that has ports for phone and WiFi so hopefully I will not need an engineer.

Once again thank you for your reply

Unless its the same router  you wont be able to use it as phone sockets do not have ports for  ( or) Wifi built in , unless you mean a mains socket like this: https://www.screwfix.com/p/lap-13a-2-gang-sp-switched-wi-fi-extender-2-1a-1-outlet-type-a-usb-charge...

2.4GHz only. And it can only extend the WiFi from a router that is in turn plugged into a real Master Socket.

@Johnboy can you post a photo of what you have found that you think is a (the?) Master Socket, so that we can hopefully identify it?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
