Has anyone else been offered a smart stick to replace the white box for free ?

Hi all

I got an email today from Now TV ?
saying that my white Now box is going to be switched off and that they will send me a free stick to replace it ?

when I got to the check out to order my stick it said my card will be charged £24:99 ?

has anyone else been offered this ?

is it correct or is it a con ?

sounds like a con as they are saying it’s free but  in small print say they are charging me £24:99 ?

Did you follow the instructions in the email, to the letter?

Is there a special login you should use, or a code in the email that discounts the price to zero, and you have to put that in?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

I've received the same offer and can see the small print you are concerned about. Not yet gone ahead with this

Did NowTV supply a voucher code?

If so, does that make the £24.99 message go away?

I contacted them on chat and they did offer a code however it didn't work. I got a red error message when applying it.

They've emailed me and we're currently trying to sort something out.
