Long Term Nowtv Customer

I've been with now tv for over a year. But what gets me is we spend so much money on passes yet we get no freebies in return as a thankful for sticking with now tv.

Thats because you've got your strategy completely back to front!  NowTV is already cheap relative to the oldskool alternatives (Sky, Virgin etc.).  Those other services might reward you with silly freebies... but thats probably because they are trying to keep you blindly paying above market rates (like a casino plying you with free drinks).

With modern subscription services like NowTV the trick is to not be loyal and to keep cancelling the subscription on a routine basis.

NowTV actually makes it really easy to pay below the published prices if you want to save money -  either by trying to leave and accepting what they offer you or by repeatedly buying new boxes when retailers put them on sale - you can currently get a box with 6 months entertainment for £20 in Argos.  Save £21 and count the pair of AAA batteries as your freebie!

As MontyMouse has already mentioned, there are plenty of legitimate ways of obtaining 'Entertainment' and 'Movie' passes at discounted prices. Many of which come bundled with a Now TV (black) box.

Indeed, Argos currently have a couple of £19.95 Now TV box deals with 6 months Entertainment or 4 months Movie pass vouchers.

Put it this way, the amount I've saved by buying period passes for movies and entertainment over the last 18 months of being a NOW TV customer has saved me plenty of money in comparison to having a Sky sub.

I've also had plenty of free passes thanks to promotions such as buying a new Gillette razor or a new Chromecast.

Well, I collected my two new boxes and passes earlier today. So I now have two spare remotes, PSU's and HDMI leads and four AAA batteries...

I do not work for Now . I am simply a Now customer trying to help I am a Community Contributor This means that I know a lot about the service. But just like you I am still a customer. This means I cannot help you with issues that would involve looking into your account directly. A member of the now TV forum team or live chat will need to assist you with these issues.

@Anonymous User they are there just hidden (for no reason at all, blame ITV). Load the most recent episode and hit pause once the adverts finish. Now along the bottom should be all the other episodes.

Don't forget the free HDMI cable, a lot of manufacturers do not give you a HDMI cable in the box.
